So yeah... I have no idea how to take screenies and yeah... I don't have any computer technology stuff so please help! Like the setup and the formation and the setups and stufff....

Printscreen button, it should be above home/insert/delete etc.
It'll save it automatically to your C>program files>GW>Screens folder.

What miskav said, and also pressing crtl + shift will get rid of the interface for you (pressing it again will make it reappear)

I thought it was Ctrl + Shift + H.

It also can get rid of the towns in the map (M -> Ctrl + Shift + H for a clean map).

How do people take such good screenies then if that's all you could do!? Is it all about the timing?

Shift + PrintScreen will take a screen shot without the UI; no need for any toggle.

Default format is JPEG; you can change it to BMP if you are so inclined with a command switch.

I've seen people say Vista saves them to your documents folder rather than your GW directory if you have that OS installed.

Yes, timing and position can make better screen shots. Saving as a bitmap(.bmp) rather than the default .jpg will also increase the quality. If you can't run GW at the highest settings, or run it at a low resolution, you will also lose quality.

If you're taking a special screenshot then set your graphics to the max so it looks nice. F11 -> Graphics, and pray like me you won't crash :P.

Otherwise, yes, taking good screenshots is all about timing. Just like IRL.

Its also possible to set up screenshots by using what u know is going to happen upon you doing something.

Like in my avatar, I timed the shot so I would get the picture right as I fired with cripshot.

Sceenshots can take timing. However if you're aiming for a screenshot of an expected action (ie a particular pose within a skill animation) and your PC is not at the bottom of the system requirements you can capture a number of shots quickly by repeatedly pressing PrtScn, sort if like a paparazzi photographer taking multiple shots.
You can then go back and delete the pics that aren't quite what you're after

And don't forget that if you don't have the best PC in the world, taking a screenshot will make you sort of lag for a second, so if your doing what Hollygen said and taking multiple screenshots at a time, make sure your not in mid-battle with 50hp left!

There are some aspects of taking good screenshots that are similar to real photography. If you're just taking screenshots to record text in the text window or skill bars, etc., then it doesn't matter, but if you are taking screen shots to show off your latest armor or weapon, or as part of a sale or auction, then you should take note of things such as the contrast to the background, the "busy-ness" of the background, the direction of the light source, etc.. (Usually best to have the light source behind your vantage point - the subjects shadow should point away from you.)

this means you can use an emote and basically spam the prt sc button and get a screen of almost every frame of the animation. Doing the same with screens set to use jpg gives a delay.

Screenshots also automatically increase the quality of your graphics settings for the screenshot, although manually increasing them yourself will make them even better.

As others have stated. Getting a screenshot just right requires a good location, good lighting and the right angle.
The screenshot for my avatar took a while to get right.

A tip for good angles can be to use a different account to screenshto the character.
